SCIST – St Clare's Independent School Trust

SCIST is working towards opening a new school on the St Clare’s site in September 2026. Our board, supported by carefully chosen professional advisers and sector experts, has developed a detailed and robust business plan and expression of interest, which has been positively received by Cognita. We are now working with them towards this goal.

A recent Wales Online article referred to £3m of funding. This figure relates to pledges made during our earlier campaign to keep the existing school open. While those pledges were tied to the old school, they demonstrate the depth of community support for education on this site.

We are hugely grateful for the backing of parents and the wider community. With your continued support, we are confident we can create a thriving new school for the future.
